They offer highly specialized skills in overhead door mechanics and electronics, including smoke and fire screens, vertical conveyors, and other complicated jobs.

Inspections & Drop Tests

VRC inspections are necessary for many reasons, and in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, they are mandatory biannually.

The State of Massachusetts has special rules on VRCs, codified under the Massachusetts Code of Regulations, 524 CMR 32.00 Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors. Permits, testing, and inspections are required. VRCs require permits and testing by the State of Rhode Island and they require VRC mechanics and installers required to be licensed by the State of Rhode Island. Alta Dock & Door is the go-to company for this.

Additionally, fire doors require yearly drop tests, which Alta Dock & Door expertly does.
